Brigham Young University - Marriott Center Framed Print
Brigham Young University - Marriott Center Framed Print. This panorama, taken by James Blakeway, provides a snapshot of the excitement as the BYU Cougars defeat their co-conference opponent. This is only the third time these two teams have met in play and, the first time ever at the Marriott Center. This is a matchup that many BYU fans looked forward to, including thousands of BYU students. Despite the not-so-warm weather during basketball season in Provo, students camped outside the Marriott Center in hopes of snagging front row seating. The Marriott Center was named in honor of benefactor J. Willard Marriott, founder of the Marriott Corporation. BYU fielded its first basketball team in 1903. The print is mounted and backed up with foam core. The frame is black aluminum with glass. Outside dimensions are 13.75 inches x 40.25 inches. It measures almost 1 inch out from the wall and is .375 inch wide with a rounded profile front.
